Marcel van Luit is a multidisciplinary artist known worldwide for his modern surrealistic works that blend digital art, painting, sculpture and animation. During his recovery from the rare Guillain Barre syndrome, which left him paralyzed for an extended period, he discovered his talent for digital art. In those years of rehabilitation he began creating visual worlds as a way to find light in the darkest moment of his life, a journey that would later shape his remarkable artistic career.
Marcel first gained international recognition through his signature digital artworks that blur the line between imagination and reality. His poetic, layered compositions have been exhibited and collected worldwide, including Times Square New York during Frieze, Art Basel Miami, Art Basel Hong Kong and leading galleries across Europe, the United States and Mexico.
His work is collected by many of the world’s most influential cultural figures, including Drake, Naomi Campbell, Lionel Richie, Post Malone, Teddy Swims, Paris Hilton and global leaders. Through these commissions and relationships, Marcel has become known for his ability to translate identity, symbolism and emotion into deeply personal visual narratives.
In recent years Marcel expanded into painting, creating original paintings including the INNR Series, the Fortune Series and the BlaBla Series. These series explore introspection, destiny and expressive emotional energy.
Today, Marcel’s mission remains consistent across all mediums: to strengthen the connection between humans, animals and the natural world and to inspire people to protect the magical planet we share.
My work is an invitation to enter a world where imagination becomes a place of healing and transformation. I explore the space between reality and fantasy to uncover emotional truths and to communicate universal themes through symbolic storytelling. Animals, light, water and dreamlike landscapes are recurring elements in my work because they reflect our inner strength and our desire for connection.
I create art that offers comfort and perspective. I want viewers to feel seen, inspired and empowered when they look at my pieces. My process blends photography, digital techniques and painting, allowing me to build scenes that feel both familiar and otherworldly. Every piece carries a message of hope, wonder and personal growth.
My work is a continuous search for the place where imagination and reality meet. I create worlds that encourage people to see beauty, possibility and connection through a new lens. Whether through digital art, painting or sculpture, I aim to strengthen the relationship between humans and nature by showing the wonder, emotion and symbolism that exist in every living being.
My goal is for my art to remind people of what truly matters, to spark admiration for our planet and to inspire greater responsibility for the animal kingdom. This is not only my creative practice, but my way of life.
