Regina Noket, known artistically as ibequeenbee, is a passionate visual storyteller whose art is rooted in resilience, transformation, and joy. In 2015, Regina faced a major health crisis that tested the limits of her strength—but she emerged victorious. This pivotal experience became a catalyst for a profound creative awakening.
In 2020, amidst the stillness of the COVID-19 pandemic, she began her professional journey as an artist. Confined to her home, Regina found purpose in painting—transforming solitude into inspiration. From this moment, ibequeenbee was born.
Her vibrant, whimsical artworks are rich with emotion and intent, capturing the fragility and beauty of life. Each brushstroke is a tribute to survival, self-expression, and the healing power of creativity. Through her work, she not only tells her own story but invites others to reflect on theirs—finding light in struggle and magic in the everyday.
With every canvas, ibequeenbee creates more than art—she crafts a purposeful legacy meant to endure, uplift, and inspire.
As an artist and survivor, my work is rooted in transformation, resilience, and emotional storytelling. I began painting professionally in 2020, during the global pandemic, following a life-altering health crisis that redefined my relationship with time, purpose, and creativity. Through my art, I give voice to both struggle and triumph—moments that have shaped me and continue to inspire my practice.
Painting under the name ibequeenbee, I explore themes of fragility, healing, and hope. My work is characterized by vibrant colors, fluid forms, and a whimsical aesthetic that seeks to uplift while inviting deeper introspection. Each piece is not only a reflection of my personal journey, but also an invitation for viewers to connect with their own stories of endurance and growth.
I view every canvas as an opportunity to create meaning—to leave behind a legacy that honors life’s complexities and celebrates its beauty.
