Raised in a family of artists in New York’s SoHo district in the 1970’s-80’s, I had broad exposure to the cutting edge art and culture of the time and was fully immersed in the art world at a young age.
I went on to get my BFA from CalArts in graphic design and from there moved to downtown Los Angeles and co-founded a performance art and art installation space called TAP ( temple art performance)
It was here that I launched my art career and worked side by side with notable artists, musicians and performers curating events and art shows
From there I moved to the solice of the high desert in Taos New Mexico where I still reside today and currently live in a solar powered off-the-grid community
I sell my art in several venues across the southwest and have been collected by notable people such as Aamon Carter 3, Jeffrey Bromfmann and Julia Roberts
Had it not been for visual art as an integral part of my life I would have lived so richly and meaningfully. I have experimented with many media but have built a success career in colored pencils drawings and oil paintings
