Alexander Buss

Alexander Buss began working with Rainer Ehricke as a freelance advertising photographer after completing his photography studies.

It has always been important to him to take on photographic challenges and broaden his photographic horizons. In the beginning, this involved darkroom and exposure techniques, and today it involves the possibilities of digital image processing.

Digital photography has been an integral part of his work since the 1990s. Even during his studies, it was important for Alexander to break through his boundaries in order to create his own unique visual worlds.

For him, it is a special challenge to blur the boundaries between photography and painting. He calls it digital photopainting or photopainting. His darkroom experience and his exploration of various printing techniques have helped him to break new ground.
