Ivana Gagić Kičinbači (b. 1980) is an internationally exhibited contemporary artist whose work explores inner landscapes, presence, and transcendence through abstraction. Working at the intersection of digital drawing, minimalism, and conceptual depth, her practice is defined by restraint, gesture, and atmospheric clarity.
She holds a PhD in Art and has exhibited extensively in solo and group exhibitions across Europe, the United States, South America, the United Arab Emirates, and Japan. Her work has received significant international recognition, including the El Greco – Premio de las Bellas Artes 2025 and First Prize in Landscapes for the William Turner Award.
Kičinbači’s practice demonstrates consistency, conceptual maturity, and international visibility, positioning her work within a contemporary art context of sustained cultural and long-term collector relevance.
My work is rooted in an exploration of presence and inner experience through abstraction. Using digital drawing and restrained formal language, I focus on gesture, atmosphere, and the balance between movement and stillness. Rather than narrative representation, my practice invites a contemplative engagement, allowing the work to unfold gradually and resonate over time.
