Tamara Michel was born in Ukraine, studied in Moscow, and has lived and worked as a freelance artist in Vienna for 30 years. She paints with oil, watercolor, and acrylic paints on canvas and paper. She is known for her innovative use of drawing media, painting techniques, and striking color combinations. Rich, deep colors envelop the mysterious depictions in her figurative artworks, rewarding the viewer with a journey through her landscapes, some imaginary, some realistic.

She has her own style, a blend of figurative and impressionistic. In her oil paintings, she sometimes uses watercolor techniques, which makes her paintings particularly fresh and vibrant. She enjoys painting watercolors outdoors, for example, in the churches of Vienna. Over the past 30 years, several exhibitions of her work have taken place in Austria. Many of her works are in private collections in Austria, Germany, France, and Russia.
