Christin Behrend

Christin Behrend combines experimental and expressive painting styles, executed in acrylic colours on a roughened background, created by marble flour enriched with binder.

The results are emotionally charged paintings, whose strongly symbolically atmosphere allows a positive view of life. It processes personal life issues, detached from time and space. Her artworks give an idea of the experience of spiritual liberation.

“Every good and perfect gift is from ABOVE”

In this period people are going through a lot of unrest;
due to wars, illnesses and personal crises.
However, we still see the light flashing every now and then.
Light in all possible shapes and colors.
Sometimes like a short spotlight, sometimes like a sunrise.
Nature in all its abundance, reflected in flowers, trees, stars and planets.
Radiant experiences.
Messengers of another reality.
The most important things in life are given to us.

That´s what the paintings tell about.

ABOVE.
