The intended mise-en-scène has been an important component of her art work. Having started with photographical art, for the last years she has focused on shoe sculptures and assemblages, and turned to a surrealistic way of working.

"I just need to assemble the pictures and thoughts of my consciousness and subconsciousness to create a new vision and a new way to see.", the artist says. As Georg Christoph Lichtenberg said, "He, who has eyes to see, sees everything in everything."

Research as well as the study of particular topics play important roles in theartistic realization: to deal with a topic - to eviscerate, to mangle, and to transform - to achieve a new insight. Veiled criticism with a touch of irony is intended.

I've been creative since childhood, created my own costume jewellery in my youth, designed and produced lingerie in my younger years, and started with photography, videos and a short film with my lately deceased former partner. Then I started creating shoe sculptures and sculptures made of expanding foam, and have been working on assemblages and collages the last years as well.

Over the last few years I learned to see my surrounding and the world with new eyes and as Georg Christoph Lichtenberg said, "He, who has eyes to see, sees everything in everything", I started seeing more than the usual in everything. And as is the case with many other artists, my artwork also always contains my emotions.
