I’m Montse, a contemporary Spanish artist, fabric and fashion designer with a rich and diverse career in fashion. I graduated from the Ramon Llull-ESDI University in Spain in 2003 and since then I have been working in the world of fashion. I have always combined my work with my creative facet and painting. I have created all kinds of products from clothing, prints, merchandasing, footwear, bags and accessories.
I have experience in marketing and product development. I have led design teams and supervised productions in several countries managing the entire process from conceptualization to store distribution. In my free time I do different activities, I have been with my own online business for over a decade.
I like to paint above all abstract and colorfull things that fill my soul with a particular affinity for abstract and vibrant compositions that resonate with my inner self. Painting as a expresion of my internal emotions through the language of color. Music and color give life to my day. “The expresion of emotions through color is the heart of my works.”
The main reason for my works is color and their combinations. How to combine color with different techniques and textures to bring joy to life. I like to see that in the space created and change your mood. My inspiration is my inner feelings, my soul and the way to get out my emotions like music. For me the color and music go hand to hand, both can change a people day in a positive way.
I try to create works with bright colors that take me to different worlds, that awaken sensations and sometimes the combination of contrasting colors between them give the painting richness. I like to try new things for give my paintings special and different touch. I like to paint above all abstract and colorful things that fill my soul. Painting as meaning of expressing inner emotions through color. Music and colors gives life to my day. The expresion of emotions through color is the heart of my works.
